The clamping forceps consist of the jaw, joint, and handle. Vascular occlusion clips are not included. Not supplied sterile. Prior to use, the user institution shall clean and disinfect the device in accordance with the instructions for use. Do not use under endoscopic guidance.
【Scope of Application】
Used as a vascular occlusion clamp to close blood vessels.
【Instructions for Use】
1. Verify that the color of the clamp applicator’s rotary table matches the color of the ligating clip base. Inspect the applicator’s appearance, connections, and operational flexibility and reliability; if any abnormalities are detected, discontinue use immediately.
2. Place the clamping forceps, firmly grasp them, and accurately insert the tip of the forceps into the base of the ligating clip. Ensure that the tip is perpendicular to the base, then gently press the forceps until you hear a distinct click. Do not force the forceps into the base or the upper part of the ligating clip; the ligating clip should slide in and out of the base with ease.
3. Remove the clamping device from the base, ensuring that the ligation clip is securely held within the jaws of the clamping device (as shown in Figure 1). The base must be clamped to ensure that the ligation clip can be removed.
4. During use, as shown in Figure 1, the single tooth of the vascular clamp ligation clip is positioned, enabling the user to visually confirm the structure being ligated.
5. Adopt a technique that provides a clear view of the locking mechanism, and position the ligating clip around the ligated vessel and surrounding body cavity tissues (as shown in Figure 2). Apply sufficient force to the handle of the clip applier to ensure that the jaws close and the vascular clamp is securely locked (as shown in Figure 3). Then release the handle of the clip applier, allowing it to return to a fully open position, thereby completing the clamping procedure.
